The work of a LIBERATE facilitator is to clear those layers and return her to it.
WHAT IT IS
LIBERATE is a certification and a business-in-a-box for women who guide other women to write in their own voice, and to lead through their writing.
It is empowerment-led. Your role is to run a process that returns a woman to her own authority on the page, guiding her out of the acceptable voice she learned to sound in and back to the true one beneath it. The craft of editing stays elsewhere. This work is about the voice itself.
You receive everything you need to begin: worksheets, scripts, session structures, and the method itself, that can be delivered 1:1 or in intimate groups. You finish ready to run your first session.
WHO IT’S FOR
The woman who is already in love with the practice.
You write. A book, a Substack, essays, or pages kept only for yourself. You work with women, or write for them, or feel the pull to. And you want to go deeper. To expand your work, your influence, and your income, or to open the door to a creative practice of your own.

Who I am
I learned to read and write at four, and I have never put the pen down since. I am the author of seven nonfiction books and four photography monographs, because I tell stories in images as well as words, and I am writing my first novel now. I created Woman's Words, my writing publication, to give other women a place to find their voice on the page.
For more than twenty years I have mentored and taught women writers and creatives. I hold a PhD, and teaching certifications in writing and creativity. My students describe me as straightforward and calm, a guide who holds you to your word and offers tough love when the moment asks for it. No ship sinks under my watch.
