Who I am
I learned to read and write at four, and I have never put the pen down since. I am the author of seven nonfiction books and four photography monographs, because I tell stories in images as well as words, and I am writing my first novel now. I created Woman's Words, my writing publication, to give other women a place to find their voice on the page.
For more than twenty years I have mentored and taught women writers and creatives. I hold a PhD, and teaching certifications in writing and creativity. My students describe me as straightforward and calm, a guide who holds you to your word and offers tough love when the moment asks for it. No ship sinks under my watch.
I believe in the force of a woman's words. The world is waiting to be moved by yours, to be uplifted and provoked and taught and entertained by what only you can say. Your life has shaped a voice that exists nowhere else. If you are called to write, you are meant to.

How we work together
Over six months, your book moves from wherever it stands today to a finished work in readers' hands. The path is steady, sequential, and shaped entirely around you.
We begin with a two-hour Strategy Intensive, where we map your full writing and publishing journey end to end, so you always know what comes next and why.
From there, we meet for your mentoring sessions, a deliberate blend of mindset, creativity, strategy, and the practical tools that move the work forward. Sixty minutes each, on Zoom, from anywhere in the world. Every session is shaped around your book, your stage, and you. Nothing about this is a template.
Depending on where your book stands, together we will:
Gather your ideas into one clear angle, so the book knows what it is and so do you
Build the architecture that holds the whole work and moves the reader through it
Bring your reader into focus, the one woman you are writing for, so the writing comes easier and truer
Refine your pages through direct feedback on your actual writing
Move through writing, self-publishing, marketing, and selling with calm, sequential, no-nonsense guidance
And when the inner critic starts screaming, when the work stalls, when self-doubt arrives and the dark night of the soul sets in, you will have steady counsel from someone who knows those demons intimately and knows exactly how to move you through them.

This is the fullest expression of what we do together. Six months of twice-monthly sessions, both VIP Days, priority access throughout, and a complete read of your finished manuscript with my direct editorial response.
Then I take the part most authors dread off your hands entirely. Your interior book design and your cover, done for you, the full pre-publishing setup handled start to finish. You will not wrestle with formatting or guess at what a professional book is supposed to look like. You hand me the manuscript, and I return you a book ready for the world. From there I guide you hands-on through publishing and launch, so the book does not only get written. It reaches the readers it was meant for, and it earns.
